Bioresonce, the method of analysis used

The method used for the analysis is Bioresonance, which is a bioenergetic method based on modern biophysics that teaches us that all matter has a resonant frequency.

Using a hair sample which holds a person or animals personal energetic blueprint, this is then compared to particular frequencies of food or substances. When a substance is indicated as not being energetically in harmony and resonance, this is then identified as a possible stressor upon the individual or animals system.

This method can be used as a non-invasive, affordable quick and easy tool to gain insight into what could be causing a person’s symptoms.

The gold standard is an elimination diet, but this can be overwhelming and stressful when a person doesn’t know where to start! This analysis helps take the guesswork out of it, giving indications on what should be eliminated as priorities, removing these stressors aids the body to regain balance and heal.

Although this method is becoming increasingly popular and used in Europe by many health practitioners to help with analysis of and harmonising of an individuals health. This method is still not excepted or understood by orthodox western medicine.

What is the difference between a intolerance and an allergy?

According to the NHS UK website

A food allergy:
is a reaction from your immune system- your immune system ( your body’s defence against infection) – your immune system mistakenly treats proteins found in food as a threat .

  • can trigger typical allergy symptoms, such as a rash , wheezing and itching, after eating just a small amount of the food ( these symptoms usually come on rapidly)
  • is often to particular foods- common food allergies in adults are to fish and shellfish and nuts . In children the most common is to milk , eggs as well as to peanuts, other nuts and fish .
  • can be serious
A food intolerance:
  • does not involve your immune system- there is no allergic reaction, and isn’t life threatening.
  • causes symptoms that come on more slowly, often many hours after eating the problem food.
  • only results in symptoms if you eat reasonable amounts of the food ( unlike an allergy , where just traces can trigger a reaction)
  • can be caused by many different foods
What causes a food intolerance?
It is often unclear why a person is sensitive to certain foods.
If symptoms come on after having dairy products, it’s possible there maybe a lactose intolerance. This happens when the body cannot digest lactose, a sugar found in milk, yoghurts and soft cheeses.
Some people have trouble digesting wheat and experience bloating, wind, diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach pain after eating bread.
The trigger maybe a food additive , chemical or contaminant such as:
  • monosodium glutamate (MSG)
  • caffeine
  • alcohol
  • artificial sweeteners
  • histamine (found in Quorn, mushrooms, pickled and cured foods and alcoholic drinks)
  • toxins, viruses, bacteria or parasites that have contaminated food
  • artificial food colours, preservatives or flavour enhancers.
Gluten intolerance is another culprit, but it’s hard to know whether these symptoms are due to a genuine intolerance to gluten, or a intolerance to something else in wheat, or nothing to do with wheat at all.
Choose from one of our quick, non invasive bioresonance intolerance tests. Only a small amount of hair is needed for an in-depth analysis, getting to the root cause of your frustrating symptoms!
Are there certain food groups that are known to cause symptoms?

There are certain types of foods which can have an inflammatory effect on particularly sensitive individuals causing unpleasant symptoms. It is helpful to become aware of these food groups and notice from your results if there is a number of reactive items from these groups.

Nightshade fruit and vegetables
If you suffer from Arthritis like symptoms, weakened digestive system or a autoimmune disorder, you may find that you are reactive to some of the foods from this family.
There are a couple of theories as to why symptoms are caused with consumption of these foods.
In animal studies it has been shown to be a link between arthritis, joint and bone problems, where symptoms increase with the consumption of nightshades.
Nightshade vegetables have a potent form of vitamin D3 which prevents proper calcium metabolism, causing the body to deposit calcium in the soft tissues instead of the bones. In animals this causes very painful joint inflammation and arthritis like symptoms. This has been shown in animal studies though, so doesn’t necessarily show that humans will suffer in the same way.

Nightshades- Alkaloids, Lectins and autoimmunity
Other research attributes the autoimmune negative affects of nightshades to various other factors such as a group of chemical compounds called alkaloids. Alkaloids include solanine found in potato’s especially when they turn green, nicotine in very small amounts and capsaicin, which is what gives peppers their heat.
These compounds naturally defend the plant from pests and mould that would threaten its existence, so they are toxic to a degree. In the edible nightshades, these are in such small amounts and mostly in stems and leaves which we don’t eat. Since humans are larger than insects, most of us won’t notice an effect from eating them, those with healthy guts can deal with these chemicals, but people who have compromised digestive systems and who may have a Autoimmune disorder have trouble with them.
Alkaloids can also irritate the gut as it can kill things in a persons intestines, the cells lining the gut are the first to be affected, contributing towards leaky gut syndrome.

What are lectins?
Lectins are naturally occurring proteins that are found in most plants, they serve as a protective function as plants grow.
Foods that contain higher amounts of lectins include beans , peanuts, lentils, tomatoes, potatoes, egg plant, fruits, wheat and other grains.
These proteins in sensitive individuals can cause gut irritation and other symptoms.

Fodmap foods
If you suffer digestive issues such as bloating, abdominal pain and gas, it maybe aggravated by this particular food group, as foods in this group can cause IBS symptoms.
It is worth looking at the particular foods in your results and noticing if they are within this group.

What are Fodmap foods?
Fodmap stands for fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides and Polyols. These are carbohydrates and sugar alcohols that are poorly absorbed by the body causing bloating and abdominal pain. They occur in some foods naturally and in some additives.
It is to be noted, that unless you suffer from an autoimmune disorder, IBS symptoms or joint arthritis like symptoms, these food groups more often than not don’t cause a problem, so it isn’t advisable to just exclude them without symptoms as they also have many nutritional benefits.

Why doesn’t a known Allergy or intolerance show on my report
In some incidences, a known allergy or intolerance may not appear or show as a low intolerance in the report. This can happen if the offending food or substance has already been avoided or excluded and eliminated for a period of time, usually 3 months or more.
Does the test, test for coeliac disease?

No we don’t test for coeliac disease. Please seek advice from your GP if you suspect this maybe a problem. Our test does cover a gluten intolerance though.
